A Poem On Love Rumours

A Poem On Rumours Going On

One day, I was sitting alone,
And was thinking about my life goals,
Then only my phone vibrated,
I checked my messages and was heart-broke.

A bunch of rumors were circulating,
To me, they were heart-penetrating,
I ignored them first as much as I can,
But slowly they came out and I have to face them.

The source of the grapevine was unknown,
It was difficult to cover the blow,
I don’t know where these talks are generating,
It had comprised more of air and less of weight.

As the talks of the elder people,
There is no smoke without the fire,
But that doesn't mean, I lit up the wire,
The sound of clap comes from 2 hands,
But that doesn't mean, I have started the clap band.

I don't pay heed to such fake news,
All they are generally a caper’s ruse,
Hearing them make me amuse.
But remember, when the water goes over the head,
People term you as dead, then stand up & speak for yourself.

The truth must shine as a bright sun,
The lie must die,
Before the dark covers you entirely,
Shine with the spirit of the sun of the mighty.
